I am a mother to an amazing young
man who has taught me so much. He has taught me how to love unconditionally. He
has inspired me with his ideas, his sensitivity, his discipline and his big
dreams. As 2017 ended I marked 26 years of work experience in various organizations.
I guess like everyone who regularly reviews her life I always ask myself
whether what I have done has any meaning. Have I made any difference?
I am inspired when I contribute
towards motivating a young person to achieve their potential – especially young
women. I have over the years especially focused on girls in ICT.
I dream of a developed African
continent with access to information and knowledge through improved
telecommunications infrastructure. I dream of an Africa that sits at global negotiation
tables as an equal player – producing knowledge and exploiting its full
potential.
I hold a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics
and Computer Science) from the University of Swaziland, Master of Business
Administration from Africa University and I am working on my PhD on a part-time
basis with the National University of Science and Technology.

So proud of your achievements Ms Dlamini. You have conquered and raised the flag of Zimbabwe high through your illustrious career over the years. May God continue to enlarge your territory as you continue with your good work and whatever you set your mind to do, may it prosper.
You are indeed a beacon of hope. You have left footprints that will guide the coming generations.
